Description
MCDOT is hiring an Engineer III, Grade 25, for its Transportation Management Section within the Division of Traffic Engineering & Operations. The role supports traffic engineering studies, including school and neighborhood safety improvements, traffic calming, pedestrian and bicycle safety, road safety audits, walkability studies, traffic impact and LATR reviews, traffic engineering plan design and review, and coordination of construction activities. The position may be filled at the Engineer II level and requires transportation, traffic, or construction engineering experience, a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and training, a valid Class C driver’s license, and completion of a pre-employment medical evaluation. The Engineer III salary range is $83,556 to $131,111.
