Description
The Mechanical Engineer will design, prototype, test, troubleshoot, and document precision instrumentation for MSD’s biodefense, clinical, and life-science markets. Responsibilities include developing specifications and test protocols, building manufacturing test fixtures, preparing assembly procedures, sourcing parts, and working within ISO and FDA cGMP processes. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, at least five years of relevant experience, and demonstrated CAD experience; medical or scientific instrument design, ISO cGMP, GD&T, and regulated-device manufacturing experience are preferred. The position is based in R&D, light-manufacturing, and engineering office environments and offers an annual base salary of $88,100 to $134,400 plus potential bonuses and medical, dental, and vision benefits.
