Shield AI is hiring an Engineer II focused on software and simulation for its Hivemind Solutions Test Department in Washington, D.C. The role leads simulation-driven testing, automation, software quality, and test-framework development for Hivemind autonomy software, including regression and system tests, issue diagnosis, test planning, Python tooling, SIL/HIL/VIL harnesses, simulation infrastructure, CI/CD integration, and documentation. Candidates need related engineering experience, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, Python proficiency, robotics or small UAS experience, strong analytical and debugging skills, and the ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance; US citizenship is required.
