Description

CarMax is hiring an Engineer II to design and build full-stack web applications and integration services supporting customer service and collections operations. Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
Required Previous Experiences: At least 2 years of professional experience building full-stack web applications with modern front-end UIs and middle-tier or API services.
Experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs that integrate with enterprise systems.
Experience writing unit and integration tests and using Git or GitHub for version control and reusable libraries.
Experience deploying and supporting applications in Microsoft Azure environments.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience building internal operational or workflow applications.
Integration experience with financial systems, accounting platforms, or other enterprise systems.
Familiarity with microservices, service-oriented architecture, or distributed systems.
Agile development experience and stakeholder collaboration.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, build automation, release management, and IIS configuration.
Experience with automated performance testing or regulated data environments.
