Microchip Technology Inc. is hiring an Application Engineer for its Secure Computing Group Applications team. The role develops and tests embedded firmware for secure computing products, supports customers with secure Platform Root of Trust devices, delivers technical demonstrations, resolves customer issues through Salesforce, and contributes to product development and application notes. The position requires 3–5 years of embedded firmware development and testing experience, strong C programming, Python scripting, and familiarity with embedded debugging, security, and cross-platform tools; it is an individual-contributor role with no travel.
