Description
Microchip Technology Inc. is hiring a Firmware Engineer for its NCS Product Development team to design, implement, test, and maintain embedded firmware and drivers for NCS products. The role is an individual-contributor position spanning the full product development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, release, and sustenance, with collaboration across hardware, software, QA, and global teams. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field, 2+ years of embedded firmware experience, Embedded C and RTOS proficiency, microcontroller and low-level interface experience, JTAG debugging, and familiarity with version control. Linux driver development, Ethernet or USB protocols, ASPICE, functional safety, and coding standards are desired.
