Description
The Software Engineer II will design and implement embedded software for Thermo Fisher Scientific’s high-performance liquid chromatography systems, including instrument control, actuators, sensors, fluidics, optics, and mechanical subsystems. The role involves translating scientific requirements into software, collaborating with electronics and instrument development teams, contributing to firmware architecture, debugging field issues, and maintaining the embedded software toolchain. Candidates need a master’s or bachelor’s degree, at least two years of commercial embedded software experience, microcontroller and SoC development expertise, RTOS and hardware debugging experience, and proficiency with modern development tools.
