Shield AI is hiring an Engineer II, Structural Analysis to support the structural analysis and testing of advanced unmanned aerial vehicles. The role involves building finite element models, performing static, modal, fatigue, and vibration analyses, conducting hand calculations, optimizing lightweight airframe structures, supporting structural test plans, analyzing flight telemetry and test data, and documenting engineering recommendations. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or a related field, at least two years of relevant experience, FEA tool experience, knowledge of composite materials and mechanical testing, and proficiency with data-analysis tools.
