Description
The Engineer 3, Occupational Safety role independently develops solutions for complex occupational safety problems, including hazard control, safety systems, compliance, risk, inspections, audits, accident investigations, training, and continuous improvement. The position coordinates with plant, medical, security, UAW, and other stakeholders; represents the organization with auditors and consultants; and prepares safety communications and standards. It is a split shift from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., requires frequent lifting and standing, and offers a base salary of $86,600 to $144,900. Visa sponsorship is not available.
