Description
The City of Ulm is hiring a full-time, permanent Engineer in Traffic Engineering, Traffic and Electrical Engineering Systems to plan, control, construct, maintain, and manage traffic and electrical engineering systems such as parking ticket machines, parking guidance systems, tunnel equipment, retractable bollards, and signal-system sensors. The role includes project management from planning through completion, tendering and processing HOAI and VOB contracts, and rotating on-call maintenance. Applicants need a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, traffic engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification, expertise in the relevant area, decisiveness, initiative, determination, willingness to work outside regular hours and in all weather, and knowledge of the city of Ulm.
