Description
The Engineer 4 supports facility design, operation, and maintenance in plutonium facility environments, including rapid-response engineering, complex design and analysis, technical documentation, construction support, regulatory compliance, multidisciplinary project coordination, and project leadership. The role may mentor junior engineers and improve engineering processes. It requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited institution and at least nine years of related experience, along with nuclear or industrial engineering experience, knowledge of applicable codes, DOE Q clearance, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.
