Description
The Transmission Line Design Engineer provides engineering and technical expertise for transmission line projects, including routing and siting, conceptual and detailed design, cost estimates, construction support, troubleshooting, and project documentation. The role supports the Carolinas West region, requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or professional engineer licensure, at least eight years of engineering experience, utility-industry experience, and proficiency with transmission line design software and engineering standards. It is full time, hybrid, with three days per week in the office or field, and requires a personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement.
