Description
The Hotel Engineer performs guest repair requests, preventive maintenance, inspections, complex mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and pool-heater repairs, troubleshooting, safety procedures, inventory management, and coordination with other shifts. The role also trains and mentors junior engineers, supervises work in the absence of supervisors, and fulfills Engineer on Duty responsibilities. Required qualifications include a valid driver’s license, refrigeration or electrical certification, CFC certification, and applicable state and federal licensing; preferred qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, HVAC/refrigeration technical training, extensive general maintenance experience, and at least two years of hotel engineering or maintenance experience.
