Description
The Engineer will assist the Chief Engineer in overseeing union tradesmen and maintaining mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, life-safety, and other base-building systems. The role performs MEP repairs, tenant work-order closeouts, preventative and emergency maintenance, fire-alarm testing, equipment monitoring, utility-meter readings, and tenant-request response, while serving as a fire brigade member. It requires building-automation-system experience, project-management and scheduling skills, strong communication and problem-solving abilities, and several NYC fire-department and refrigeration certifications. The position pays $53.01 USD and is bonus eligible.
