Description
MP Materials is hiring a hands-on Engineer to support the development of advanced manufacturing technologies for high-performance rare-earth permanent magnets. The role focuses on experimental development of front-end magnet-making processes such as strip casting, powder processing, pressing, and sintering; designing experiments and custom setups; running pilot-scale campaigns; characterizing materials with techniques including SEM, XRD, and particle size analysis; collaborating with production teams; and developing technical reports and standard operating procedures. The position requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant engineering or materials field, materials-processing experience, process-development knowledge, and proficiency with materials characterization tools.
