Description
The Materials and Failure Analysis Engineer will lead root-cause investigations of battery module and system failures, design teardown and testing protocols, apply electrochemical and materials characterization techniques, develop FMEA and failure-trend documentation, support supplier quality and safety investigations, and maintain incoming parts quality processes. The role requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or materials science field, at least five years of experience in failure analysis, reliability, or quality engineering, and hands-on laboratory and data-analysis skills. The position includes local travel and 10–25% overnight or North American travel, with work in an office, factory, and customer or partner locations.
