Description
The Mine Engineer performs short-term mine production planning and scheduling, development and infrastructure design, mine ventilation and ground control design, surveying, production quantity calculations, and month-end mine production reporting. The role begins with full-time mine surveyor training before transitioning to full-time engineering duties, including mine planning, project oversight, cost estimation, ground support engineering, and technical support. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in mine engineering or a relevant technical discipline, mining or metallurgical experience, and proficiency with surveying, Deswik, AutoCAD, and related software.
