GHD is hiring a Mine Tailings Engineer in Montreal to manage mine tailings projects at operating and closed sites within its global mining community. The role covers project management, technical design, feasibility and detailed design, stability and water-management analyses, dam safety reviews, GISTM compliance audits, construction drawings, technical specifications, client relationships, and mentoring junior staff. Candidates need an engineering degree, more than five years of relevant experience, experience designing mine tailings management structures, an engineering licence and membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec, and strong communication skills; bilingual French and English ability is an asset.
