Description
Thiess is hiring an Engineer Mining for its Wahana Coal Mine Project in South Kalimantan. The role develops and maintains mine plans, schedules, and designs; monitors mining activities, production, costs, budgets, safety, and environmental compliance; coordinates with operations and technical teams; supports dig, dump, haulage, and equipment plans; reconciles performance against targets; and provides technical guidance to supervisors and other personnel. Applicants need a bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, 2–3 years of open-pit mining experience, mine-planning software proficiency, Microsoft Office skills, and English communication ability; POP certification or equivalent mining supervisory certification is preferred.
