Description
BD is hiring a Process Engineer - Molding to develop and implement injection-molding process technologies for IDS products. The role focuses on improving quality, capacity, cost-effectiveness, and waste reduction while collaborating with GIE, R&D, Quality, manufacturing, vendors, and plant technicians. Responsibilities include defining molding processes, developing machine settings and validation protocols, supporting design for manufacturability, leading Kaizen events, managing capital projects, and mentoring engineering technicians. The position requires a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent molding experience, at least three years of plastics engineering experience, and knowledge of polymer materials, quality control, CAD, validation, and regulatory environments.
