Description

Agnico Eagle is hiring a Mine Planning Engineer to report to the Supervisor, Mine Planning and support the Engineering Department at the Meadowbank Complex. The role leads scenario, budget, and enhanced life-of-mine planning; collaborates on monthly mining analysis; supports stockpile and waste balances, cut-off grade calculations, mineral reserve and resource estimation, mine design, special projects, and health and safety activities. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in mine engineering, four years of underground and open-pit mine planning experience, mineral resource estimation or mine footprint design experience, and Canadian Professional Engineer designation or eligibility for NAPEG licensure. The schedule is five working days followed by two rest days, with occasional site travel, and accommodations and meals are provided.
