Description
The Engineer or Scientist will support the full acquisition process for SSN AUKUS, including requirements development, design, integration, testing, installation, and operational support. The role provides subject-matter expertise for U.S. submarine combat systems, BYG-1 functions and capability development, CIS functions, architectural decisions, and documentation. It is an overseas position in Newport, Rhode Island, United Kingdom, requires U.S. citizenship and a security clearance, and requires at least one year of specialized experience at GS-13 or ND-04 level or equivalent experience in submarine combat systems, specifically AN/BYG-1 and SWFTS.
