Description
The Packaging Engineer leads packaging development, innovation, sustainability, and productivity initiatives across Mars Petcare North America’s portfolio. The role manages complex, business-critical projects from concept through commercialization, develops specifications and packaging processes, translates technology to full-scale manufacturing, assesses scale-up risks, and mentors junior Packaging Engineers and Technologists. It requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field, 3–5 years of packaging project and technology development experience, and experience with retort, cans, and corrugated shipping containers. The position is onsite, requires travel of up to 30%, and does not offer visa sponsorship or relocation benefits.
