Description
FirstEnergy Service Co. is hiring an Engineer for its Energy Delivery Transmission Operations Support Power Network Analysis group. The role maintains and resolves real-time issues in the Energy Management System, reviews SCADA and ICCP telemetry, supports transmission studies and network-model updates, coordinates equipment energizations, prepares technical reports, and supports off-hours callout operations. Engineer II, III, and IV qualification paths are provided, with engineering degrees, an FE certificate, and 2–5 years of engineering experience depending on the level. The position is associated with FirstEnergy’s transmission control centers in Akron, Ohio and Fairmont, West Virginia, and does not offer H-1B visa sponsorship.
