Description
Micron is hiring a Product Development Engineering Key Equipment Group engineer to identify, select, evaluate, qualify, and hand over highly automated and computerized equipment for packaging technology. The role includes defining equipment requirements, working with suppliers, preparing capital and purchasing specifications, establishing qualification and handover procedures, maintaining equipment maturity and tool-of-record documentation, enabling automation and process-control systems, and supporting continuous improvement. Candidates need a relevant engineering degree, semiconductor packaging knowledge, 0–2 years of related experience, strong project management and communication skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
