Description
The Virtual Test Environment (VTE) Lab Operations Lead will manage builds, upgrades, external sites, troubleshooting, and general operations for VTE machines in the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division. The role coordinates virtualization upgrades for Next-Generation Sequencing simulations, works with the virtualization build team and assessment and authorization teams, manages software licenses, plans future lab states and rough-order-magnitude engineering efforts, and leads Test Readiness and Mission Readiness activities. The position requires U.S. citizenship, federal employment suitability, a Secret security clearance, DoD cyber workforce qualifications, and at least one year of specialized experience at the specified pay-band level, with possible travel to CONUS and OCONUS and remote or isolated-site work.
