John Deere is hiring an onsite Software Engineer in East Moline, Illinois, to develop Gen5 display software using C++ and Qt/QML in an embedded Linux environment, design and maintain Model-Based Software Design solutions with MATLAB/Simulink, implement features and resolve defects, and participate in code reviews, testing, and software integration. The role requires C or C++ or MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow experience, exposure to embedded Linux or real-time systems, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. A related bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is preferred, and visa sponsorship is not available.
