Description
WD is hiring an Embedded Firmware Engineer to design, develop, test, integrate, and maintain firmware for enterprise hard-disk storage products. The role involves C++ and Python firmware development, data structures, algorithms, drivers, hardware-core interfaces, unit testing, CI, Agile and Scrum collaboration, and technical investigations across servers, RAID, and Windows and Linux platforms. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field is required, while microcontroller, embedded systems, SAS/SATA/PCIe, debugging tools, machine learning, and Scrum experience are preferred.
