Description
Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking a Video Codec Engineer to develop firmware solutions for Qualcomm video codec hardware. The role involves designing and optimizing video encoder and decoder solutions, driving silicon bring-up and feature validation, debugging and resolving issues, defining hardware and software interfaces, and collaborating with hardware, systems, software, verification, and product teams. Candidates need recent 6–10 years of relevant experience, strong C programming and embedded systems skills, and experience in video, camera, or computer vision; knowledge of H.264, HEVC, VVC, or AV1 codecs is preferred.
