Description
The City of Westerstede is hiring an Engineer or Technician for civil engineering, wastewater, and municipal water management in its Construction Office. The role oversees the operation, maintenance, and repair of stormwater, foul/mixed-water, and pressure sewer systems; advises on wastewater-facility measures; and manages independent planning, tendering, construction supervision, and documentation. Applicants need an engineering degree or a state-certified civil-engineering or water-management technician qualification, along with civil-engineering knowledge, teamwork, communication, IT, field-service, and driver’s-license requirements. The position is permanent and full-time, with part-time generally possible, and offers flexible working arrangements and remote-work options subject to requirements.
