Description
GDIT is seeking an ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN IV for a waterfront shipboard construction and re-modernization position aboard U.S. Naval ships. The role involves installing, maintaining, repairing, troubleshooting, modifying, constructing, and testing various electrical, electronic, and/or mechanical equipment. Responsibilities include applying technical knowledge of electronics principles, performing quality assurance testing, providing work leadership to less-experienced technicians, and participating in special projects. The technician will also handle fiber optic cable installation, termination, splicing, and optical testing.
