Description
The Engineered Lumber Technical Specialist provides technical expertise to builders, lumber yards, distribution centers, and internal sales teams on engineered wood products, including floor and roof systems. The role interprets architectural and construction plans, creates engineered wood layouts using CAD and engineered lumber software, recommends products and specifications, troubleshoots design and installation issues, delivers training, and supports demand forecasting and customer service. A bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or construction field is preferred, along with 2 to 5 years of experience in engineered lumber, structural design, construction, building materials, or a related technical field; the salary range is $62,000 to $76,000 per year.
