Description
Kern County is hiring an Engineering Aide and conducting a written examination to evaluate knowledge of algebra, geometry, engineering construction and architecture terminology, and computer-related drafting techniques. Applicants must score at least 70% on each exam phase, hold a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent with algebra and geometry coursework or sufficient experience, and possess a valid California driver's license. The examination establishes an eligible list from which immediate appointments may be made, with permanent and temporary appointments made as needed.
