Description
DIS-TRAN Packaged Substations is hiring an Engineering Apprentice to support project engineering teams on high-voltage substation projects. The role focuses on structural and physical substation design, including structural calculations, steel design, foundations, electrical clearances, equipment functions, structural modeling, and drawing production. The apprentice will follow projects through the design process, support the engineering team, resolve impediments, and help schedule reviews. A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required, with PE preferred; Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills and strong communication are also required.
