FEV North America Inc is hiring a Fall/Winter Engineering Assistant intern for its Engine & Hybrid Powertrain Development team in Auburn Hills, Michigan. The internship is focused on powertrain testing, data analysis, calibration and measurement support, test setup installation and commissioning, and collaboration with operations staff, customers, and internal engineering teams. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a closely related field, strong engineering fundamentals in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer, basic knowledge of combustion engines and aftertreatment, and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and either Excel macros or MATLAB scripting. The role prefers six months to one year duration, may require second-shift support, and may lead to full-time consideration for high performers.
