Description
The City and County of San Francisco is hiring an Engineering Associate I for the Bureau of Engineering of Project Design and Development to support street resurfacing and streetscape projects. The role prepares engineering drawings and related graphic materials, checks drawings for accuracy and compliance, incorporates survey data into AutoCAD and Civil 3D, reviews submittals, assists with cost and quantity estimates, maintains construction documentation, performs related calculations, and drives to work sites. Applicants must have four years of verified civil, structural, or transportation technical engineering drafting experience using CAD or BIM systems, including two years comparable to the Class 5362 Engineering Assistant role, plus a valid California driver license.
