Description
Spirit Energy is hiring an Engineering Authority for a two-year PAYE contract in Barrow-in-Furness. The role provides technical assurance, governance, and final decision-making authority for engineering activities, manages technical risk and asset integrity, oversees the Technical Authority Framework and outsourced service provision, supports investigations, and manages contract ownership and vendor management. The position requires senior technical or assurance experience, deep discipline expertise, engineering judgment, a degree in engineering or technology, Chartered Engineer status, and experience with event management and investigation training such as Kelvin TopSet. The role follows a hybrid arrangement requiring four office days, with compulsory days on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
