Description

Tatham Engineering is looking for an Engineering Candidate/Engineer or Technologist to join their Land Development group in Ottawa. The successful candidate will assist with the planning and design of land development projects, including roads, storm and sanitary sewers, watermain, and stormwater management systems. Key responsibilities involve preparing design calculations, reports, managing projects, submitting applications, conducting inspections, and interacting with clients.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 1-5 years of engineering design experience, preferably in the consulting environment
Preferred Qualifications: Ability to obtain P.Eng. in the Province of Ontario or C.E.T/C.Tech designations
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Strong communication and technical writing skills
Enthusiasm to work in a team structure and a willingness to guide, help and collaborate with others
Understanding of relevant legislation, guidelines and standards
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and work independently under minimal supervision
Bilingual (English/French)
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
