Description
Nu is hiring a Director of AI Developer Experience to own and scale the AI Developer Experience pillar within Global Platforms Engineering: Engineering Enablement. The role will build a dedicated engineering team, define AI-native developer tooling across context, agentic coding, code review, AI SRE, and model routing, manage third-party AI vendors, and improve shipped PRs and token efficiency. The position requires proven leadership of AI-native developer tooling or platform teams, experience building full-time engineering teams, and hands-on technical credibility in agentic coding or developer-facing AI tooling. The role is based in Palo Alto, California, with in-office attendance of two days per week in 2026 and three days per week from 2027 onward.
