IWSR is hiring an Engineering Director to lead its technology function, setting technical strategy and architecture, holding technical accountability for delivery across the client platform, internal researcher tooling, and emerging data products, and championing AI adoption. The role partners with the Chief Product Officer, programme management, product teams, and research stakeholders, while also contributing to engineering standards, hiring, and team development. It requires a strong technical background, experience leading technology delivery in data- or research-heavy environments, and excellent stakeholder management; AI experience is strongly preferred.
