Description
The Engineering Equipment Operator will operate gasoline- or diesel-powered construction and engineering equipment, including graders, dump trucks, loaders, backhoes, heavy trucks, trailers, snowblowers, dozers, and snowplows, to grade surfaces, stockpile material, clean ditches, and remove snow and ice from mountainous roadways. The role requires a Class A Commercial Driver's License, physical ability to lift 50 pounds, safety and equipment-maintenance responsibilities, and availability for on-call, evening, weekend, holiday, overtime, and shift work. The Port Angeles position includes winter snow-removal duties and weekend and holiday work from approximately November through May.
