Description
AECOM is hiring an Engineering Geologist to provide geological and geotechnical support for transportation infrastructure projects in New Jersey and New York. The role covers field reconnaissance, geological mapping, site investigations, rock and soil analysis, geotechnical modeling, risk assessments, construction monitoring, drilling and instrumentation oversight, and preparation of reports and drawings. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field plus six years of related experience, a valid U.S. driver’s license, and must be able to work in New Jersey and New York. A master’s degree, professional engineering or geologist licensure, and experience with underground structures and geotechnical software are preferred. The position does not offer U.S. employment authorization sponsorship or relocation.
