Description
The Miami HEAT Engineering department is hiring an Engineering Helper to oversee the maintenance, operation, and repair of furniture, fixtures, basic electrical items, and other facility equipment. The role includes repairs and installations involving plumbing, doors, locks, windows, motors, compressors, ice machines, painting, carpentry, minor electrical work, welding, preventive maintenance, equipment operation, work-order documentation, and support for event conversions. The position may require extended, irregular, night, weekend, and holiday hours and requires a one-year college or technical school certificate, six months to one year of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
