TxDOT’s Bridge Division is hiring engineering interns in Austin, Texas. The internship provides entry-level transportation and bridge engineering support under supervision, including data collection and analysis, spreadsheets and databases, inspection reports, construction documentation, drafting, surveying, and maintenance of project records. Applicants must be enrolled in an engineering or related science program at an accredited institution accepted by TX PELS and meet the stated age and employment conditions. The position is sedentary with repetitive computer and hand work, requires a pre-employment physical, and is subject to drug testing because it is a safety-impact position.
