Description
Sonoco is hiring a 12-week paid internship for its Consumer Packaging America Division in West Chicago, Illinois. The internship provides hands-on projects, plant tours, leadership engagement, networking, and exposure to manufacturing, process engineering, quality, safety, commercial and sales, finance and accounting, and supply chain management. Applicants should be enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, have previous internship experience, and demonstrate leadership, technical aptitude, and communication skills. Compensation is a monthly base salary of $3,700–$5,700 depending on degree level and year of study, with housing and activity stipends, relocation assistance, medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement matching, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement.
