Description

KBR is seeking an Intermediate Engineering Laser Analyst to plan, execute, and analyze vulnerability tests for mission-critical systems and operational environments. The role develops test plans, conducts assessments under simulated and real-world conditions, identifies system weaknesses, ensures compliance with security standards, collaborates with engineering and security teams, prepares technical reports, supports readiness and risk activities, and provides guidance to junior engineers. The position is full-time and on-site at a government facility in the Virginia area, contingent upon contract award, and requires a relevant degree or extensive experience, vulnerability-testing expertise, security-compliance knowledge, and an active TS/SCI clearance with an adjudicated polygraph.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Master’s degree with 7 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience, or no degree with 10 years of relevant experience.
Required Previous Experiences: Experience in vulnerability testing, penetration testing, or operational security assessments.
Familiarity with security compliance frameworks and risk management methodologies.
Proficiency with vulnerability assessment tools and test management systems.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience conducting vulnerability tests in mission-critical or defense environments.
Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity principles, system hardening techniques, and exploit mitigation strategies.
