Description
Metrea is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead a software development team responsible for a Mission System product within its Digital and Synthetic Group. The role manages engineers’ development, supports product and technical leadership, tracks progress and risks, removes blockers, aligns with strategic goals, improves engineering processes, and supports recruitment and onboarding. Candidates should have experience leading software development teams, mentoring engineers, applying agile methodologies in a matrix organisation, and communicating technical content clearly. The position is full-time, hybrid with three office days per week, and requires regular travel to Metrea’s Harwell office and occasional travel to other UK offices.
