The Human Influence Engineering Lead will manage and grow the Human Influence engineering function, overseeing Research and Software Engineers and leading engineering projects from scoping through production. Responsibilities include designing scalable evaluation and benchmark architectures, building automated human-AI experiment pipelines, developing multi-agent study toolkits, and delivering research projects involving large-language-model fine-tuning and reinforcement-learning environments. The role requires complex engineering or research leadership, reproducible engineering, cloud and database software design, Python production coding, and machine-learning or LLM experience. It offers a hybrid working arrangement, a modern central London office or similar government offices, and an annual salary of £65,000–£145,000 depending on level and experience.
