The role involves technical leadership, focusing on designing, implementing, ensuring quality, and running products and services. Responsibilities include aligning with the Product & Technology roadmap, fostering individual and team development, collaborating on secure and reliable software, managing technical debt, promoting knowledge-sharing, and contributing to the broader engineering community.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Leading and line managing a team of Engineers.
Providing clear direction and collaboration, coaching, mentoring and development support.
Experience of managing and leading engineering teams in building new high quality systems, improving stability, security and performance.
Experienced with software engineering in the cloud.
Operating in an Agile environment (SCRUM and Kanban)
Constantly looking to automate in areas such as CI/CD and quality assurance.
Preferred Qualifications: Financial Services experience is preferred for this role.
Experience with some of the following would be a bonus: AWS, Java, Python, React, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, automated testing, robust deployment approaches, observability, serverless computing, APIs, DevSecFinOps.
