AWS is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead the IAM Control Plane team responsible for secure, scalable, and performant propagation components and authentication and authorization services. The role owns long-term product and architecture strategy, operational reliability, engineering delivery, team hiring and performance management, and communication with senior leadership. Candidates need substantial engineering management, software architecture, distributed systems, and multi-tier web services experience, along with experience partnering with product or program management teams. The position is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, with a base salary of CAD 171,400 to 286,200 annually.
